How to reach Silhouette
 |
Nearly
all tourists come and go by helicopter. There is not a regular
shedule, but if there are guests a helicopter is chartered, so
guests can come every day of the week. Silhouette is served by
Helicopter Seychelles. |

There is no airstrip so the only alternativ is
going by boat. Twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday, there is a boat from IDC,
leaving Mahe at the IDC installations in the harbour at about 8;00 a.m.,
arriving on Silhouette around 10.30 a.m.. The return trip leaves Silhouette
between 11.00 a.m. and noon, and costs 100 Rupees each way. |
